這張自詩巫獨中董聯會七樓所拍到的京城大酒店(Premier Hotel)與周邊的暗漆漆的對比顯的一種眾人皆混沌我獨亮的感覺。
京城酒店就是詩巫最早興建的12層大樓，砂拉越大廈的一部份，也是最早具有Class的酒店，七十年代以來生意都保持一定水平，主要因為設施不錯，地點太適中了！
經理道敏是中正中學老同學，是很拼命型又很忠心的人。
他說詩巫酒店的價格是很廉宜的，每次外國紅毛人要quote價錢時，有點不好意思，因為如京城酒店一晚才約一百零吉出一點，化美元約USD30，他們還以為是“老爺”的酒店呢！
雖然詩巫人都跑到其他地方去了，詩巫的酒店業者還保持一定營業額！

With Premier Hotel was the King's Theatre. Is it still around? It was the best theatre in Sibu. Is Palace still around? King's was burnt down at least twice in the history. There were so much rumours about the ghost inside the theatre. With the video rental, theatres really went out of business. I am not sure if there are still mid-night shows around in Sibu.
midnight show, of course. expensive fare lah.....
