全國衛理禱告大會Grand finale Methodist Prayer Convention
看廣場里這么多人到底在幹什么？
全國衛理禱告大會相信是詩巫最盛大的一個基督教集會，
自下午五時多就下著雨，
因此最初來的人還撐著雨傘，
不過，後來雨停了，
圖示這個傘海要比過去在同一個地點舉行的多了三倍以上.....

為了宣傳海報，叫詩巫攝影協會會長阿長來拍手相，沒人要做模特兒，在下只好犠牲手相......一張，咔嚓！
第二張
終於選一張作這次海報，
寄往全國各個六百多間堂會，
吸引了3,389人來參加，
包括來自西馬的淡米爾會友、Senoi原住民、華人年會代表等600人，
最後一晚閉幕禮，假詩巫廣場舉行聖餐崇拜，預料共有12,000人出席，你會來嗎？
Methodist Prayer Convention
The 2nd Methodist prayer Convention (2011) will be held in Kingwood Hotel Sibu from 29/4/2011 (Friday) to 1/5/2011 (Sunday). The Sarawak Chinese Annual Conference and Sarawak Iban Annual Conference have been entrusted to organize this convention. There will be 3,389 participants from the following Annual Conferences:
General Conference - 11 people
Chinese Annual Conference - 348 people
Trinity Annual Conference - 204 people
Tamil Annual Conference - 65 people
Sengoi Missionary Conference - 22 people
Sabah Provisional Annual Conference - 128 people
Sarawak Iban Annual Conference - 285 people
Sarawak Chinese Annual Conference - 2,326 people
Besides, there are 51 Organising Committee members and 161 volunteers.
The theme of this convention is “”Spreading Scriptural Holiness Transforming the Nation". Foreign main speakers have been invited to speak in the Convention. There will also be ten workshops run by various local Malaysian Pastors and lay members. We hereby urge all participants to report themselves early for this auspicious Convention.
On May 1st (Sunday) evening at 7:00pm, we will be holding the grand finale in Sibu Town Square. We have made preparation for 12,000 to attend this function. We hereby urge our Churches in Sibu East, West Districts, and those nearby from Bintangor, Sarikei and Kapit to join the service in Sibu Town Square. The usual evening services in these churches will be shifted to Sibu Town Square. For the grand finale, there will be presentation by a joint choir of a thousand members and Holy Communion to be administered by a hundred Pastors.
This occasion is difficult to come by and could well turn out to be a once in a lifetime gathering for many of us. We therefore once again urge all Methodist Church members and other Christians to gather and pray for our nation together.

全国卫理祷告会
第二届(2011年)全国卫理祷告会将在诗巫晶木酒店举行。日期是由29/4/2011 (星期五)至1/5/2011(星期日)。砂拉越华人年议会受委托筹备这一次的祷告会，至今报名人数为3389人，分别来自：
总议会 － 11人
西马华人年议会 － 348人
西马三一(英语)年议会 － 204人
西马淡米尔年议会 － 65人
西马Sengoi宣教议会 － 22人
沙巴临时年议会 － 128人
砂拉越伊班年议会 － 285人
砂拉越华人年议会 － 2326人
此外尚有筹备会51人及义工161人。
此届全国祷告会主题为“宣扬圣经圣洁，更新转化国家”邀请外地讲员前来主讲。另外也有十个工作坊，分别由全国各地牧师或会友主持。我们在此呼吁本地报名的会友准时出席这次难逢的盛大祷告会。
另外在5月1日(礼拜天)当晚七时正，我们将在诗巫市镇广场举行闭幕圣餐崇拜，预备接待一万二千名会友。我们吁请诗巫东教区、西教区，还有一些在诗巫邻近的加帛、民丹及泗里街教区的堂会，当晚全部移往广场举行联合崇拜。崇拜之中有千人诗班献唱及近百位长牧襄理圣餐。筹备会亦在广场摆放九千张座位供会友就坐。
这是一场毕生难逢的集体祷告大会，我们谨此呼吁卫理公会会友及各地基督徒全心全力参与，为国家祷告。

Biodata of the Speakers
Mr Graham Power
Graham Power 在南非经营建筑工程公司，同时也是南非的建筑、地产、基建等行业的领袖, 在一九九七年接受了耶稣基督成为个人救主后，花了大约三年的时间，清除内心的「污垢」。 他是「世界祈祷日」的发起人。他著有“Not By Might, Nor By Power”及“Transform Your Work Life”两本书，写下上帝在他生命施行能力和恩典的感人见证。
Graham Power (born April 6, 1955) is the founder and Board Chairman of the Power Group. Over 25 years he developed a company that started with one employee, one vehicle and little finance into one of Southern Africa's leaders in the fields of civil engineering, development and construction.
In 2001 Graham Power led a gathering in Cape Town, South Africa that saw 45,000 Christians fill Newlands Stadium to pray for the needs of the nation. Today this movement has become a global movement, in which nearly every country in the world participates each year, praying for the needs of the world. He is currently the chairman of Transformation Africa and Global Day of Prayer, and was the founder of the Unashamedly Ethical campaign that challenges people to fight against systemic corruption in order to eradicate systemic poverty.
Graham lives in Cape Town, South Africa.
