Everything about SIBU and beyond......
You can make papaya pickles (from the unripen ones) or dried papaya slices from the young ones. You can also make papaya jam...commercialise it!!Beautiful pictures..and the papaya trees make a delightful change from the coconut trees found too often in our sunset scenes....
CY. u need to apply for manufacture license and need to pass the security check from Healthy Department, enviroment Department......each will approve it may be within few years!?No future for the local farmers, so my brother wants to stop planting Papaya!
Sorry to hear that.Mrs. Wiltshire bottles her own fruits and pickles many vegetables the whole year round. Many English and American friends I know are doing the same and they are so GREEN that they set up their own stalls in homeproduce markets. No licence needed. Sometimes they barter.I think our agriculture dept is not helpful at all.
