Everything about SIBU and beyond......
Err...but Najib is pretty close to Sin Chew. It is more of capitalising on the sentimental value of The Malaysia Daily News. Seriously, the paper (Malaysia Daily) brought back a lot of my good memories.
别以为小报没用,大报就自以是.那何必拿小报来做后备胎.I strongly belief that Sin Chew must have received information regarding the renewal of their printing permit and that was why they were trying to re-dress Malaysia Daily News and put them in a different plate form from it is now. I think we should not make too many commence as the owner might not be happy and stop using Malaysia Daily News as the Print Media in Sarikei, Bintangor region.
As for me, I think the theory is simple, if there is demand, then there is always supply. If the readers really urge for Malaysia Daily, then the owner should have given grand presentation and priority earlier. The question we should ask is, are we really keen to have the paper? Are we going to show our strongest support by subscription and advertisements' insertion? If we aren't, then we have not much to say, right? As we go back to the history, the real fact was that, Malaysia Daily faced difficulty without strong support from the grassroots; the paper itself was too conservative and not aggressively run or operated. To be fair, for those who criticised so much all these years, are they really prepared to show their strongest support? If yes, then show by action.
