砂拉越福州社團聯合會日前假美里舉行嘉年華會，昨晚(11月25日)假東林高球俱樂部舉辦創會25週年紀念晚宴，筵開608席，盛況空前，可能創下美里甚至砂拉越最多人：六千多人宴會的記錄。
雖然榕屬人請自己部長黃順舸為主賓是理所當然，但陳康南副首長在自己地盤未受邀請出席，總是有點那個，明眼人看出這可能與年來人聯黨內爭及籍貫之爭有關，有人指出這次的宴會有向陳氏示威的意味！？
在西馬的大集會都以悲劇收場，尤其印裔的權益集會未見國內主流媒體，僅能自半島電視台(Aljeera)看到片斷，安華來詩巫舉行集會也不見人潮（見上圖），未見任何浪花；但福州人則以另類形式集會，令人側見，這對於即將來臨的國會選舉尤其美里區會出現怎樣微妙的局面，目前尚難下定論。
