前兩天砂拉越首席部長阿都泰益表示砂拉越首個火車系統将在砂拉越再生能源走廊（SCORE）建立。該火車計劃預料在2020年以後完成，全長逹320公里，從民都鲁的Simunjau到沐膠的Tanjung Manis走廊區的物流需求。砂拉越再生能源走廊預料在未来30年將吸引價值3000亿令吉的投資。
聽起來很吸引人，在中國及歐洲等國家火車不是新鮮事，不過咱們要到2020年完成，在下覺得這是開玩笑，反正政治家講話是不用本錢的......比較實際的是現在通往沐膠的道路弄好一點，就是砂州人民的榮幸了！
記得上個世紀九十年代，詩巫一名從政者，常在演說中提及詩巫前往西岸的順溪美祿(Sg Bidut)建設Tunnel（隧道），媒體也報導了，不過聽的人沒幾個相信；後來伊干橋建了，這隧道計劃也不了了之，反正政治演說，不用本錢的，要講什么就講什么......至今該從政者仍時常會在不同場合口沬橫飛的演講，聽聽就好啦！

一期工程西寧至格爾木段８１４公里已于１９７９年鋪通 ﹔
二期工程格爾木至拉薩段于２００１年６月２９日開工，全長１１４２公里。青藏鐵路格爾木至拉薩段經過海拔４０００米以上地段９６０公里，翻越唐古拉山口的鐵路最高點海拔５０７２米﹔鐵路沿線地質條件復雜，其中僅多年凍土地段就達５５０多公里。
這二期的工程是自2001年至2005年全線貫通，1142公里只花了約5年時間完成!

Ralph Nader has been an intelligent social activist. He never made it to party politics. Thatcher was the last choice of the Conservative in Britain yet she managed to rule with an iron hand. Mao was an ideologist. He helped China to be re-united. Gandhi was selfless and sacrificial. Mugabe? He is a strange fish. Idi Amin...wow...he probably ate human flesh. The list goes on.
But my bottom dollar is on the intelligence and the spirit of the populace.
