Everything about SIBU and beyond......
Welcome to Sarawak...Nice to read about your China travels and your fresh opinions. Can you share with me the latest news and development about Pulau Kerto (Ke Lok Toh). thanks.
Erosion leads to sedimentation. The logging in the upper reaches of Rejang has long been considered part and parcel of the rapid run off and serious flooding problem. Simple geography books can tell us this. But many important people think otherwise. Are we going to use an elephant to swat a fly? Just be honest and be of noble character. It is never too late for redemption.
sarawakiana, the crux lies with the boss!
Sarawakiana n tony hii,Everybody in Sibu knows the story ar the back.About Kerto may be you refer Yong Sun Paradise(http://www.yongsun101.blogspot.com/),he is orang Kerto.Anyway i heard there are still more than 60+ families stay there, but 6-7 families will move within this year. Most of the people at Kerto still engage wilh farming and some small factories like sawmills and pottery making.Anything you want to know more?
Dear ML,Thank you. Do you have a photo of the pottery factory there? I might like to use it...there used to be a school there. Was it built by the Methodist Church? How big is the river now? Kerto should be developed soon. So many cities in the world are on two sides of a river.Again, Tony...we have been left to be under boss....to the end of our days? Will it be flood and more flood?
Yes, if the boss continues to be in charge.
sarawakiana, Kerto River is nice place for water ski because of smooth water, if you want Kerto River's photo you can go to my blog and take it.但要看你自己的眼力那些是在哥樂多拍的。
