日前，

收到一通電話：誰是John Sung?

詩巫華團的美娟打電話來，說有兩位西馬人似乎對教會有點興趣，推薦來找我；

原來他們是要來來與華團配合推動反酗酒運動的負責人：David Ong與Koh Pak Boo。

在下都會帶一些客人到詩巫的

宫民合作的公園走訪

口沬橫飛

介紹詩巫的種種......

這些社區公園已經成為地方的特色！

這是與David Ong攝於興化紀念廣場

由於他們是受英語背景的教育，

在下就帶他們到興化及富雅各公園，

也一回生兩回“老書哥”，

用“陰溝里死english”

口水多多

介紹詩巫

......

過幾天，

收到他們的“伊媚兒”email，

看來他們也聽的懂......

Dear Brother Wong,

Please accept my humble thanks for your gracious sharing with Bro. Koh and I your esteemed and invaluable knowledge on the founding and settlement of Sibu.

I am profoundly grateful to have learnt from you the rich tapestry of Sibu's past.

More so on the grace of God and His blessings to the Christian settlers and their descendants in Sibu.

Indeed this is ascribed to His glory that Sibu today is so vibrant and prosperous. I am glad to know that the Church in Sibu continues to be both the light and the salt in the community.

I look forward to touching base with you on my next visit at the end of September.
